I’ve seen a lotta weird stuff in my time on Enterprise, but the Barge might just take the cake. This isn’t really anything like I’d expected it to be. Of course, I’m not really sure what I did expect it to be, but this sure isn’t it. It’s definitely gonna take some gettin’ used to, but I guess I don’t have a lotta choice or anything. I’m not sure the Admiral’d appreciate me chickening out only a coupla days in, and I’m definitely not plannin’ on throwin’ in the towel anyways. I’ve got a deal ta follow through on.

Funny thing is, now that I think about it, I don’t really remember actually makin’ the deal. Or more like, I don’t remember meetin’ the Admiral. I know why I’m here, I’m just not quite sure how it happened. Is that normal?

That seems to be personal preference, but I've come to realize that it matters very little. I returned home, once, and did not remember anything of the Barge while I was there. [But she's going to avoid mentioning Vulcan going boom anyway. :c]

[That's for Kirk to spoil.] I guess I've never minded a little mystery. Goin' home must have been... [Ffff the future is usually kinda scary when it comes to them, maybe he doesn't want to know, why did he open his fat mouth. :|] Nice.

[Idk Trip, stop talking about it. :c] It was...not what I expected. [Pretty much rewrote her history, which, in the long run, was awesome. :|]

It is an option. I waited nearly a year before taking it. [Yeah no she knows the feeling. :c Acutely. The anniversary is in a couple weeks by her clock. And she draws in another breath like she's going to say something else, but she doesn't really know how to say 'I missed you' without losing her cool.]

[Trip's not really sure what to do, because he... really, really hadn't expected all of this. At least she's not from before all this happened, because he's really not sure how he would have explained everything that happened to her if she was behind him. He settles for reaching out carefully to take her hand, not really sure he wants to try hugging her or something, even if she did kiss him when she first entered the room.]

[Hugs are still kind of awkward for her, but the hand holding isn't all that bad. She even curls her fingers around his, stepping closer. Lol Trip you're lucky. The first time he was here, he didn't even know they had a relationship. :c T'Pol's fine with just. Standing here, holding his hand. For now, anyway, eventually they'll have to stop being derpy.]

So, uh, I'm not interrupting anything, am I? [Meaning does she have anything better to do then just chill here with him because... he wants to give her space if she needs it.]

[...Ahaha Trip you're funny. There is the barest hint of one of those smiles she makes with her eyebrows.] You're not interrupting anything. [Oh hey an idea.] I could show you the ship. There is something of an engine room.

[Did you say engines? c: ] Really? Well, I never say no to a tour.

[She knows how to perk him up. So she just nods a little bit before heading for the door.]

I believe you'll also appreciate the CES.

[And he'll be following her out into the hallway.] CES?

The closed ecological system. It's on one of the above deck levels. I thought, for some time, that it was an example of extremely advanced holography, but it is extremely...real. It usually manifests as a forest, though on occasion, it has been known to be other settings. [She got the fire plains once. That was kind of nice. :c]

Y'think it can manage a bayou or somethin'?

[She tilts her head, considering as she leads him down the hall, pointing out the laundry room and the awesome pool table.] Perhaps. I have never seen one, but that doesn't mean it's unable.

[He nods and grins sort of mischievously.] You wanna go see if it can?

[Okay, so maybe it's just because she hasn't seen him grin like that in a while and she misses it, but she's totally going to explain giving in by thinking starting from the top and working their way down is a good way to give a tour.]

Very well. It's this way. [And it really isn't long at all before she's pulling her IDIC out from beneath her uniform to open the CES door.]

[Well, Trip's pretty impressed. It's definitely not a hologram, although part of him wouldn't be surprised if it turned out it was the technology he'd seen on the Xyrillian ship years ago. Still, the swamp looks pretty realistic, and he'd be lying if he didn't say it was pretty cool to know he could come up here whenever he wanted and get a bit of the American south there.] You come up here that often?

[She's never been to the American south before, so she's actually all kinds of intrigued with the sight, and lets the door close behind her, curious.] No, I don't. Only occasionally. Apparently, bayous are not beyond its capabilities.

Wonder how it feels about beaches. [Plots, Trip has them.]

If it can create a bayou, I'm certain it can create a beach. [Eyebrow. He's not gonna make palm trees, is he.]

[But palm trees are awesome! :c] So, where's our next stop?

[Fff. :|] There is a pool, a spa, and a pub one deck below, as well as a garden, and I believe a green house. [She's heading for the door again, taking one last look at the bayou.]

[And he'll just be following right behind you.] Anything interestin' in there, or just boring stuff from Earth?
